Preview in VR · For Members

Preview your trip,
at real scale.

Before you book the hotel or spend the points, put the headset on and stand in the space. Ceiling height, window views, how far the bed is from the bathroom. The things photos don't show.

Part of membership. Sessions happen at our space in Qualicum Beach.

How it feels

Photos flatten everything.

A photo of a hotel room is shot with a wide lens from the one corner that flatters it. A 360 view has nowhere to hide. You stand in the middle of the room and look wherever you want.

That difference is the whole product. Not a slideshow, not a video tour on rails. You choose where to look, and the room answers honestly.

360° preview

Drag to look around. An illustration standing in for the real thing;
the headset does it properly.

What you can preview

Everything on the itinerary that has a room, a seat, or a street.

Bring your shortlist. We load what we can find in 360, and you walk it before a dollar or a point is spent.

🛏️
Hotel rooms
Layout, light, and scale

How big “cozy” really is. Stand at the window and check the view, pace the distance from the bed to the bathroom, and see whether two open suitcases still leave floor to walk on.

✈️
Airline cabins
Economy, premium, business

See what the points buy before you spend them. Sit in the lie-flat pod, check the legroom in premium economy, and decide whether the upgrade is worth 40,000 points or a better dinner.

🚆
Trains & ferries
Coaches, seats, and decks

The scenic train is a full day in one seat, so it pays to know the seat. Preview the coach, the dome car, and the ferry deck before the day starts.

🛳
Cruise staterooms
Inside, oceanview, balcony

The gap between an inside cabin and a balcony is real money over a week. Stand in both, then decide which one your trip actually needs.

🌍
Streets & neighbourhoods
The block, not just the building

The hotel can be perfect and the block can be wrong. Stand on the corner outside the front door, look both ways, and decide if it feels like your kind of street.

🏛️
Museums & landmarks
Places on the list, and beyond it

Walk the gallery before deciding if it earns a morning of your trip. And some places aren't on any itinerary; the headset goes there anyway.

How a session works

Bring a shortlist, leave with a decision.

1
Bring your shortlist

Two hotels you can't pick between, a cabin category you're unsure about, a neighbourhood you've never seen. Anything on the itinerary that's still an open question.

2
We load it

We find the rooms, cabins, and streets in 360 and queue them up in the headset at our space in Qualicum Beach. You just show up.

3
Walk it, then decide

Ten minutes standing in the options usually settles what an hour of scrolling reviews can't. Book with your eyes open.

Travel that comes to you

Some trips work the other way around.

For travellers who can't fly anymore, or can't yet, the headset reverses the direction of travel. Milford Sound, the Cinque Terre, a grandchild's city. From a chair that stays right where it is.

It's a quieter use of the same technology, and one of our favourites. Book a session for yourself or bring someone who hasn't seen a departure gate in years.

Good to know

Sessions are seated or standing, at your pace, with someone from our team alongside the whole time. First time in a headset? That's most people. We start slow.

Put the headset on.
